Hellman and Cardinals Fall Short of Leaders in Bayou Classic

HOUSTON, Texas – In the final round of the Bayou City Collegiate Classic, Lamar University’s men’s golf team looked to gain ground on the leaders while Hugo Hellman sought to add an individual title to his career. But unfortunately, the Cardinals had their highest round of the tournament at 288 to go along with 284 and 283 in the previous and finished tied for third among 16 teams overall with 855 strokes.
