BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University soccer opened preseason workouts at the LU Soccer Complex Tuesday morning in preparation for the start of the 2025 season. The Cardinals began the day with a full session in the morning, and followed it up with a second light session in the evening. LU will look to improve upon last season, when they went 5-8-6 overall and 3-3-4 in the Southland Conference, earning the league’s seventh seed in the conference tournament.
