BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University scored four runs on three hits in the first inning and Hunter Hesseltine (6-1) pitched 6.0 scoreless innings to lead Lamar to a 7-1 victory over Northwestern State Sunday afternoon at Vincent-Beck Stadium.
